Engineered PTFE-coated fiberglass and PVC-coated polyester mesh systems for expressive façades, external shading and architectural building envelopes.

More Than a Mesh. Shaping Architecture Through Light, Air & Shadow.

One Architectural Vision. Two Material Technologies. Multiple Design Possibilities.

Architectural mesh has evolved beyond conventional screening to become an expressive component of contemporary building design.

From breathable façades and secondary building skins to external shading systems and lightweight architectural structures, engineered mesh enables designers to explore the relationship between transparency, daylight, ventilation, solar protection and architectural identity.

ArchiMesh® is FPC's architectural mesh collection, developed around two distinct material technologies: PTFE-coated fiberglass and PVC-coated polyester.

Each collection offers different mechanical, optical, surface and fabrication characteristics, allowing architects, façade consultants, engineers and specialist fabricators to select materials according to their specific design and performance requirements.

Manufactured in Saudi Arabia using FPC's integrated textile production capabilities, ArchiMesh® brings together material engineering, architectural flexibility and technical performance.

Key Architectural Performance Considerations

Solar Shading

Different constructions provide varying levels of solar screening and daylight penetration.

Natural Ventilation

Open mesh geometry permits airflow through architectural screens and building envelopes.

Visual Transparency

Openness, weave geometry and color influence views, transparency and visual privacy.

Architectural Identity

Square and diamond mesh geometries create different textures, rhythms and shadow patterns.

Mechanical Performance

Engineered reinforcement systems provide defined tensile properties for structural assessment.

Outdoor Performance

Coating technologies and surface finishes are selected for the intended exposure conditions.

Two Material Collections

Collection 01 · PTFE / fiberglass

ArchiMesh® PTFE

Engineered Mesh for Demanding Architectural Applications

PTFE-coated fiberglass mesh systems developed for façades, permanent shading structures and architectural applications where material stability, outdoor durability and product-specific fire performance are important.

The collection includes conventional architectural mesh constructions with different openness levels and the distinctive ICONWEAVE® diamond-mesh technology.

Collection 02 · PVC / polyester

ArchiMesh® PVC

Versatile Mesh for Contemporary Façades & Shading

PVC-coated polyester mesh systems offering architectural versatility through different openness levels, mechanical constructions, finishes and color possibilities.

Developed for building façades, external shading, parking structures, pedestrian areas and other outdoor architectural applications, the collection includes square-weave meshes and ICONWEAVE® diamond geometry.

Featured innovation

ICONWEAVE®

The Diamond-Mesh Evolution

A distinctive diamond-shaped weave that transforms architectural mesh into a design feature.

Its rhombus aperture geometry creates a recognizable architectural texture, influencing light transmission, visual openness and the patterns of shadow across building surfaces.

Available within FPC's architectural mesh development portfolio, ICONWEAVE® gives architects an alternative to conventional square-weave geometry.

Applications — Where ArchiMesh® Performs

Building Façades & Secondary Skins Architectural screening, external envelopes, visual identity and daylight modulation.
External Shading Systems Engineered mesh for canopies, shading elements and open-air architectural spaces.
Parking & Transport Infrastructure Shading and screening for parking structures and transport facilities.
Public Spaces & Pedestrian Areas Lightweight architectural mesh for walkways, plazas and public spaces.

Designing with Architectural Mesh?

The selection of an architectural mesh requires more than choosing a fabric weight or openness percentage.

Structural geometry, wind exposure, supporting systems, daylight requirements, visual transparency, fabrication methods and the intended architectural appearance all influence the most suitable material.

FPC works with architects, façade consultants, engineers and specialist fabricators to review these requirements and identify appropriate PTFE or PVC architectural mesh solutions.
